Simplicity
New year, new me. As 2025 started, I reviewed my travel gear, especially my cameras and editing. While reminiscing about my summer 2024 trip to Rome, I found that my Fuji X-E4 and two lenses (25mm and 35mm) performed well, but I sometimes needed more zoom options with less hassle. This simplicity helped me appreciate the city's charm, yet I wanted more versatility. I looked into compact cameras that produce high-quality images with a zoom lens, favoring a JPEG-only option to reduce editing time. I ultimately chose the Leica D-LUX 8, which has become crucial for casual outings and quick trips, making it easy to capture great photos.
